Q: I have a 9 years old Hayward pool filter sand that seems to have trouble catching all the dirt from the bottom of my pool. When I use my automatic pool A: I own a pool company.you should change the sand every three (3) years.but try washing and rinsing the front lines and see if that helps.

I have a Hayward Perflex EC40 pool filter. The "finger tubes" are leaking DE pool filter media back into the pool. Those darn tubes cost $3 a piece, and there is 72 of them in the filter. The fabric is opened up on some of them causing leaks
I've got a 75.The chlorine is the big challenge. It will eat most anything you put in the tank.
I had the end of 2 of mine start to leak at different times. On the 1st after cleaning the end, I clamped the tube into a vise, with about 1/2 inch
Of course, you do not want just any old pool filter you want one particular of the ideal above ground pool filters you can possibly find. Guess it is time to appear into acquiring that new pool filter you have been putting off for a whilst....

Anyone familiar with pool filter products? We are considering purchasing a larger entire filter for our big pool. Are any brands above more worthy of our purchase than others? Any help would be much appreciated. So far we have only found a Hayward brand
Hayward makes some of the best filters out there, or I should say the most well known filters out there. All filters are pretty much the same, except the differences are how much water they will turn over and this is based a lot on the pump itself.

We can not compress the spring enough to get the pin to go into the handle.

What you need to do is get some longer screws that work with the nuts that come with the valve (they need to have the same thread, and they need to be several inches longer so they can engage the nuts in the bottom of the valve without the spring being
